1. LOCHOL DRINKS
Ingredients:
Each sachet of 2 grams contains fine powders of :
i) Suddha Guggulu (Purified oleo-resin of Commiphora mukul) � 400 mg
ii) Mustha (Dried tubers of Cyperus rotundus) � 400 mg
iii) Arjuna (Dried bark of Terminalia arjuna) � 400 mg
iv) Punarnava (Dried roots of Boerhaavia diffusa) � 300 mg
v) Guduchi Satwa (Extracted from roots of Tinospora cordifolia ) � 300 mg
vi) Sunti (Dried rhizomes of Zingiber officinale) � 200 mg
- Processed separately (7 times) in:
i) Lasuna Swarasa (Crushed juice of bulbs of Allium sativum) � 1ml
ii) Vrukshamla Swarasa (Crushed juice of fruits of Garcinia indica) � 1ml
Action of the Formulation:
Lochol drinks regulates serum lipids by lowering the cholesterol, triglycerides, low-density lipoprotein (LDL) and very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL) levels, and restores the cardioprotective high-density lipoprotein (HDL) level. It also helps in reduction of over weight to make the body slim, reduces distension of abdomen, keeps appetite normal, tones up the abdominal muscles, relieves flabbiness and maintains healthy active vigorous life. It ensures the cardiotonic property along with enhanced bioavailability.
Indications:
i) Hypercholesteremia
ii) Obesity
iii) Distension of abdomen
iv) As an adjuvant medication in patients with cardiac risk factors
Adverse effects: Not reported
Contra indications: No absolute contra indications
Special precautions: It is advisable to take Lochol drinks under medical supervision, if the pre-existing medical conditions are long-standing and refractory to other modern medications.
Dosage: 1 Lochol sachet twice daily (dip a Lochol sachet in a cup of 100ml boiling water for 5 minutes, to be consumed without adding sugar or milk) till the lipid levels are normalized (Usually over a period of 3 - 6 months).

2. TONCURE GEL
Ingredients :
One gram of Toncure Gel contains:
i) Lasuna Swarasa (Crushed juice of bulbs of Allium sativum)- 0.3ml
- Extracts of
i) Vasa (Fresh leaves of Adhathoda vasica)- 0.1ml
ii) Tulsi (Fresh leaves of Ocimum sanctum)- 0.1ml
- Fine powders of :
i) Pippali (Dried berry of Piper longum)- 100 mg
ii) Yashtimadhu (Dried roots of Glycyrrhiza glabra)- 100 mg
- Processed in 300 mg of pure Honey.
Action of the Formulation:
Toncure Gel possesses local anti-inflammatory and systemic immunomodulatory properties, hence provides instant relief in Tonsillitis.
It is also beneficial in both productive and dry cough. The peripheral antitussive action reduces the bronchial mucosal irritation and related bronchospasm.
It builds up resistance to infection and helps to prevent re-infection. In addition, the anti-allergic and antimicrobial properties soothe the throat providing relief from other Upper respiratory tract infections like Pharyngitis, Laryngitis etc.

i) Tonsillitis
ii) Pharyngitis
iii) Laryngitis
iv) Sore throat
v) Bronchitis
vi) Productive and Non productive Cough of varied etiology
Adverse effects: Not reported.
Contra indications: Its use in early pregnancy is not recommended.
Special precautions: It is advisable to consult a physician if the cough becomes persistently severe and refractory.
Dosage: About 2 grams of Toncure Gel is taken on the middle finger and applied locally at the inflamed tonsils repeatedly (4 - 6 times a day). In other cases, it is licked and swallowed slowly as above till the symptoms get relieved (Usually in 3 - 5 days).
